The International Space Station photographed by Expedition 56 crew members from a Soyuz spacecraft after undocking. NASA astronauts Andrew Feustel and Ricky Arnold and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev executed a fly around of the orbiting laboratory to take pictures of the station before returning home after spending 197 days in space. The station will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the launch of the first element Zarya in November 2018.

membership benefits

There are plenty of good reasons why so many of the lawyers in Texas are members of the Aviation Section, but we’ll highlight a few here.  As a member, you will enjoy the following benefits, among others:

  • Online access to our Section newsletter and other materials.
  • Online access to Aviation Section's large and expanding collection of practice materials from the state's best and most popular aviation lawyers.
  • Online access to the latest work product of all of the Aviation Section, that is only available to members.
  • You may have the opportunity to work with other Aviation Section members to develop practice materials for your particular area of aviation law.
  • And probably the single most important benefit: networking opportunities.  You will be able to communicate with other Aviation members based on the comprehensive, searchable member database to which you will have access.

Section membership is $20. If you are a law student or new lawyer licenses for less than 2 years, your membership is free!

If you are already a member, you can add Aviation Section via My Bar page.

If not a member or a law student, you can apply here.

The application cycle for each year ends in April and the state bar requires recertification every fifth year.

You can also find a board-certified attorney on the TBLS Aviation Law website.
