The Aviation Section of the State Bar of Texas was founded in 1991 with the mission to provide education and information that equips, encourages, and supports attorneys practicing aviation law in Texas.

The Texas Aviation Law Section teaches all aspects of aviation law, legislation, and regulations. This allows members of the section to keep abreast of all significant developments in our field. We also focus on growing our specialty and connections by leveraging unique aspects of each of our experiences.  In this manner, we are the conduit to local, state, and federal governmental entities affecting all aspects of aviation law.  We are also aviation safety advocates in legislative and regulatory aviation concerns.   This provides the foundation to assist the development of current continuing education courses for all aviation law professionals.
